HUI 235 -- Class News

Information on weekly readings and assignments will be available on this page.

This course satisfies one of the two DEC G requirements, and may be applied toward the requirements for the EGL and ITL majors and minors, and MVL minor.

Read carefully the following guidelines:

Class attendance is mandatory

All assignment must be submitted by the deadline

If you assume that it you are allowed to be late with your assignments and exams, be aware that:

I will not accept late assignments as a sense of fairness to those who will submit their work as required. If you have a justified reason for not doing your work, make an appointment with me to discuss your reasons before the assignments are due.

No matter what, don't come at the end of the course and give me your assignments, I will not accept them. Also, keep in mind, that if you only submit the two exams and no assignments, it is going to be extremely hard to pass the course. Past experience tells me that student who only submit exams fail the course.

Needless to say, if you do not attend classes, you will have no idea what to write in your assignments (unless you are a genius, but assume you are not). Since all assignments are done at home, and you have one week to complete them, questions are phrased in a way that unless you fully understand the text, you will do poorly -- no reference book or internet resources will help you.
